50/50 Swart en wit leeringverhouding in skole - ANC dobbel met onderwys

50/50 Swart en wit leerdergetalle in skole is ʼn demonstrasie van armoedige denke in die ANC - Inteendeel dit is ʼn nie-denkende drogvoorstel

Die rasvoorstelle oor ʼn 50/50-verhouding tussen swart en wit leerders in Suid-Afrikaanse skole wat die ANC se subkomitee oor maatskaplike transformasie voorhou is opnuut ʼn demonstrasie van armoedige denke in die regerende party. 

Die rasobsessie en teikens van die ANC wat volgens Lindiwe Sisulu voorgehou word is ondeurdagte, onsinnige en onpraktiese voorstelle. Dit is juis voorstelle soos dié waarmee die ANC in die verlede met skole gedobbel het en wat direk gelei het tot disfunksionele skole en wanfunksionele leerders wat in die samelewing as jong volwassenes ingestuur word.
 
Die ANC-regering se voortdurende gedobbel met die skolestelsel en ondeurdagte modelle het sedert 1994 tot die volgende mislukkings gelei: 
- Outcomes-Based Education, (OBE), 
- Revised National Curriculum Statement (RNCS) 
- Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) 
- Meer as 80% disfunksionele skole volgens onderwyskundiges
Voor 1994 was dit "Liberation before Education" wat opeenvolgende generasies in die Suid-Afrikaanse samelewing ingevoer het wat geen na swak onderwys ontvang het. Die ANC kan nie roem op onderwysprestasies nie, inteendeel net soos die huidige energiekrisis, is dit een van die ANC erflatings wat nog baie generasies gaan neem om te herstel. 

Wat die ANC wel moet oorweeg is om voorstelle van verskeie organisasies in die verlede om te skep in sigbare en suksesvolle resultate. Voorstelle soos:  
• Die skep van ’n behoorlike en aanvaarbare onderwysomgewing vir leerders. 
• ʼn Algemene opskerping in die lewering van kwaliteit onderwysers. 
• Skep ʼn databasis van uitstekende en uitstaande skoolhoofde wat in alle skole aangestel kan word en wat opvoedkundige en bestuursleiding kan gee. 
• Verpligte moedertaalonderrig vir alle leerders in die eerste ses jaar. 
• Maak ʼn einde aan die skade en vernietigende invloed van sommige onderwysvakbonde wat meer gefokus is op ontwrigting as onderwys.

Met die voorgestelde sosiale rasse manipulasie kan geen party die totale wanverhouding van getalle in die demografie 50/50 verdeel nie. Dit is 'n nie-denkende en drogvoorstel.

Soos so baie voorstelle van die ANC, wil dit toenemend blyk dat daar nie oplossingsgerig word nie. Inteendeel die ANC is instrumenteel in die chaos en verval wat daar reeds by die meeste skole bestaan. Hopelik begin kiesers insien dat die ANC se voorstelle nie omsien na die beste belang van hul kinders nie.

50/50 black and white learner numbers in schools is a demonstration of poor thinking by the ANC - on the contrary, no thought whatsoever has gone into this ill-conceived proposal 

The race-based proposals of a 50/50 ratio between black and white learners in South African schools put forward by the ANC's subcommittee on social transformation are yet another demonstration of poor thinking within the ruling party. 

The racial obsession and targets of the ANC as put forward by Lindiwe Sisulu are ill-considered, nonsensical and impractical. It is proposals precisely such as these that the ANC gambled with in the past, and which directly led to dysfunctional schools - and dysfunctional learners being sent into society as young adults.
 
Since 1994, the ANC government's continuous gambling with the school system and ill-conceived models have led to the following failures: 
- Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) 
- Revised National Curriculum Statement (RNCS) 
- Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) 
- More than 80% of schools being dysfunctional, according to educational role-players.

Before 1994, "Liberation before Education" introduced successive generations with little to no education into South African society. The ANC cannot boast of educational achievements; on the contrary, much like the current energy crisis, this is an ANC legacy that will take many generations to recover from. 

What the ANC should consider is to convert past proposals from various organisations into visible and successful results, including: 
• Creating a proper and acceptable learning environment for learners; 
• A general improvement in the delivery of quality teachers;
• Creating a database of excellent and outstanding principals who can be appointed in schools to provide educational and management guidance;  
• Compulsory mother tongue teaching for all learners in the first six years; and
• Putting an end to the damaging and destructive influence of those teaching unions that are more focused on disruption than on education.

No party can divide the absolutely disproportionate demographic numbers into a 50/50 ratio to meet the requirements of the proposed social racial manipulation. This is an ill-conceived and foolish proposition.

Like so many proposals from the ANC, it increasingly appears that there is no solution-oriented approach. On the contrary, the ANC is instrumental in the chaos and decay that already exists in most schools. Hopefully, voters will begin to see that the ANC's solutions are not in the best interests of their children.
